How's that for a delay?!  Yes Rob T. Miller is still alive and well currently residing in Los Angels.  In fact I've been working for Neversoft Entertainment for almost a year now!  Yet how could you possibly know that since I never update this page?!  Anyways Neversoft is an amazing place to work.  Free lunches, a skateboard half pipe, and kitchens stocked with free drinks give just a glimpse of my daily routine...oh yeah life is good.  Check out the company link above for a hint at our next two projects I'm currently working on!  Specifically I'm a cinematic animator thus create all the cool in game sequences and even our game trailers like last years E3 tease we created.

In the meantime we shipped Tony Hawk's Project 8 thus making it my second title I worked on in some form.

Stay tuned!  I promise more updates in the future.  I'm in the process of re-designing this website which will make it a lot easier for me to update.

Site overhaul!  It was certainly time to get rid of that old demo reel.  Check out the new one!  Also on the animation page I added more content and a few more clips I recently created.  Hope you enjoy.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Good news all around on the home front.  My short film "The Pick Up" has been awarded official selection in the Kaleidoscope Cinema Children's Film Festival in Atlanta.  I have also been honored with being nominated by the faculty at SCAD for the very prestigious USA Today All-USA College Academic Team.  I could not be more thankful for this nomination.  After all without my professors I would not be where I am today.  Thank you!

Look for two new animated clips I have been working on very soon and an updated demo reel in the near future.

I need to update this more often!  So much has happened since my last post.

Since my internship finished in March I signed on full time to Pendulum Studios to where I left temporarily two months ago so that I could finish school.  Currently I am back at SCAD and will finally graduate in March with my BFA in Animation.  While at Pendulum I worked completely from the beginning to end on 15 minutes of cinematics for the video game "LA Rush" by Midway Games.

I also worked on three commercial spots for Kellogg's Choco Kripis Cereal currently playing in Mexico and South America.

Take a look at some of the work I produced at Pendulum Studios by clicking here.

I will start posting some new refreshing work soon once I complete some side projects I am currently working on in school.

Take care everyone!  Thanks for stopping by!

An Update!

Things have been great and extremely busy.  For those who don't know.. a few months ago I accepted an offer to work as a full time character animator/intern at Pendulum Studios in San Diego California.  So I withdrew from SCAD temporarily and have been working for Pendulum since December.  Currently I am animating on cinematics for an upcoming console based video game to be released later this year.  More on that when it becomes public knowledge.

As you may have noticed I revamped the website a bit.  Take a look around.  Most notably, head on over to the "In Progress" page to see some clips I animated on the short film I was working on before I moved to California.

That's it for now.  More to come soon.  Thanks for stopping by!

Wow!  A whole month and no updates?  Sorry for the delay.  Things are CRAZY here.  Unfortunately I keep promising "The Pick Up" to be done...but its being pushed back...again.  Everything on my part will be completed this Friday, animation, deformers, etc.  Yet I don't want to rush this project rather spend some time making it look nice in post.  So as I continue polishing the graph editor I am working with some amazing guys with sound, lighting, particles...all that fun stuff!  Hang in there...I will final it VERY soon!

Dang!  Busy busy week!  I got back from Siggraph last Friday and just had an awesome time.  The highlight was meeting Bobby "BOOM" Beck and Shawn Kelly, character animators from Pixar and ILM respectively.  We chatted about Animation Mentor and how cool their jobs were!  NICE GUYS!  Hope to be working along side them one day.  I also got to meet Mr. Jim Blinn!  The man responsible for the Blinn Shader.  Too bad I use the lambert shader more.  ;)

Other then that my short "The Pick Up" will be completed this Friday!  WHOO!  I will upload a sneak peak next week then stay tuned for the final product Sept. 15th.  I will be working with some great guys helping me with sound, particles, and all that fun post production stuff to complete it finally!

STAY TUNED!

Wow!  Siggraph is only one day away!  Looking forward to hanging out in Los Angeles for a while and meeting some great people.  I updated the demo reel slightly made it "tighter" and more concise.  Safe travel to all going to California see you there!

Still animating away on "The Pick Up" and getting really excited for Siggraph!  Not much of an update here today...then again it could be.  I just uploaded my resume and placed it on the "about me" and "contact" page.

Look for some updates on the WIP in a day or so.

WHOO HOO!  Lance Armstrong wins 6 "Tours" in a row!  Way to represent America with pride over there Lance!  Told you guys I was a cycling fanatic!  Well aside from cycling I managed to put some layouts up on the artwork page.  Check it out.

Finally getting excited for Siggraph in a few weeks should be a blast!  That means I gotta get working harder on finishing "The Pick Up".  My deadline is to have all animation done by the end of August.  Wish me luck.  I will post some play blast this week.

Welcome to my online portfolio.  With only one more year to go before the big graduation I am a very busy animator.  Keep checking back now and then because I am privileged enough to be finishing one short film then starting another in September.  I will keep you all posted with updates.  play free slot machines
